Management

Our job is to make sure that every aspect of our services meets your expectations and our own expectations as a leading provider of language and cultural services in New Zealand.

We monitor the performance of our staff and work with them in a positive way to encourage their professional development.

Kenneth Leong - Director

Kenneth is passionate about helping people connect across cultures. He has advised government and business organisations on strategies in working with people from other cultures and is regularly invited to speak on related topics.

Prior to being Director of Euroasia in 2003, Kenneth worked in the Auckland offices of a global investment bank and for a multinational consulting firm. Drawing on his over 14 years of consulting experience, language and cross-cultural skills, Kenneth leads business development initiatives at Euroasia. Takako Fujiwara - Manager

Takako has a BA in international relations from Japan, but she had already moved into the language teaching business before she came to New Zealand: she was a manager for English conversation schools in Tokyo. As a New Zealand-trained teacher, Takako understands the needs of New Zealanders, and is usually the first staff member you deal with at Euroasia. Takako is well-liked by our clients, and is known for going the extra mile.

Enthusiastic about languages, Takako holds a BA in Spanish as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching (Secondary) from the University of Auckland. Takako has been with Euroasia since 2007.

Teaching Staff

Our teaching staff come from many different countries and many walks of life.

Our teachers typically fit the following profile: native speaker of the target language; very good English; tertiary-level qualification; teaching qualification; relevant teaching experience. However, more important than any of these are a real interest in language and in language teaching, plus the ability to stimulate enthusiasm for their own language and culture.

Of the hundreds of teachers who apply to join our team every year, very few are invited on board. Check out the people who fit the bill!

What our students say
  • “Since attending classes at Euroasia my Mandarin has improved a lot. I can talk about a lot of different things now and I can understand more than I could before. Thank you.”
